How does Listen & Earn work?
When a listening opportunity is available and you're eligible, you'll see it in your dashboard. The opportunity tells you what you'll listen to, how long it takes, and what you'll earn before you start. You listen to the content inside the app, answer a few questions about what you heard, and earn the reward shown.
Your listening time is tracked to verify you actually engaged with the content. This isn't passive background listening — you need to pay attention and provide honest responses.
What might you be asked to do?
A listening opportunity might ask you to:
- Listen to a podcast clip or episode segment
- Answer questions about what you heard
- Rate the content or share your opinion
- Compare two clips and pick the stronger one
- Share whether the opening held your attention
- Answer survey questions about the topic

Do you need to be an influencer?
No. Benji opportunities are about being a real listener and giving honest feedback. You don't need a large following or any social media presence. Your value is your attention and your honest opinion — not your follower count.
Do you have to like the podcast?
No. You are paid for your attention and honest response — not for positive opinions. If you liked it, say so. If you didn't, say that too. Honest feedback is more valuable to podcasters than fake praise. You will not be penalized for giving a negative review when it's honest.
How do rewards work?
When you complete an opportunity, your reward goes through a short processing period before it becomes available in your wallet. Once it's available, you can request a payout through your connected payout account once you reach the payout minimum. Processing time can vary.
